Covering 3 house music sub-genres. It's not an attempt to embrace everything into one mix to satisfy everyone. Instead, I'm only trying to prove to myself whether more abrupt than gradual sub-genre switching when mixing tracks can be done without sacrificing musical integrity.
And Whether harmonic mixing can protect the musicality :-) As Danny Ramplimg says, "never allow sub-genres to define you and your music as a DJ. Sub-genres should be used to help, not to limit. Good music is what matters most, not the category it falls into".
I couldn't agree more.
 A combination of classic material as well as upfront ones, this mix is featured in Beatport Mixes. But you'll find there are slight modifications as I added some and removed some tracks from the original version to make up the final story of Music Saved My Spirit. Why this title? Well... doesn't music always do that to most of us?... Enjoy the musical journey folks...
